 Russell Grimes D.P.M.

Russell Grimes D.P.M.

Dr. Russell Grimes completed his undergraduate studies in Exercise Science and Biology at Missouri Western State College in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Attending Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center-College of Podiatric Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa, he received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 2003. Dr. Grimes completed a three year surgical residency at the Medical Center of Independence in Independence, Missouri.  Dr. Grimes performs all types of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, focusing on trauma, Charcot reconstruction, bunions and sports medicine. He specializes in 3D Correction or triplanar correction for the correction of bunion deformities.  Dr. Grimes is a surgical instructor for the Truman Medical Center Lakewood Podiatric Residency program.  Dr. Grimes has been practicing in the Saint Joseph and Kansas City metro area since 2006.  Dr. Grimes is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical association, and the Missouri Podiatric Medical Association. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.



Ross Bartley D.P.M.

Dr. Ross Bartley completed his undergraduate education at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He then received his medical education at Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA. Dr. Bartley completed his residency training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, MI, where he served as chief resident. He has been practicing in the Kansas City metro area since 2017. Dr. Bartley performs all types of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with special interest in bunion deformities, arthroscopic surgery and sports injuries of the foot and ankle.


Dr. Tyler D. Sten D.P.M.

Dr. Tyler D. Sten was born and raised in St. Joseph, MO, graduating from Bishop LeBlond High School. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology Health Sciences at Missouri Western State University. Prior to medical school, he worked in clinical research at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. He then went on to attend Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery where he was elected as class president and served as surgery teaching assistant. Dr. Sten completed his foot and ankle surgical residency training at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis where he was selected as chief resident. Dr. Sten is passionate about all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery with special interest in total ankle replacement, adult and pediatric reconstruction, trauma of the foot and ankle, minimally invasive bunion surgery, sports injuries, and peripheral nerve surgery. He proudly serves as a team physician for Bishop LeBlond athletics. Dr. Sten is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
